Search parameters

q filters public kit results. limit defaults to 10, with a maximum of 20. Pass the returned nextCursor as cursor until it is null; a page can contain fewer matches than requested.

A media kit is someone’s story. These connections respect the same publication and visibility decisions as the Milieu website.

Approved information, as shared.

Kit responses include public text summaries and kit links from available, published kits. Search includes only kits available for discovery. Private account records and drafts stay outside this API.

A link back to the person.

Use the published kit URL to view approved media and begin an enquiry. The connection does not grant permission to download, republish, train on, or otherwise reuse someone’s content.

A clear scope.

This release reads information. Offers, messages, account changes, publishing, and payments continue through the existing portal and agency processes.

PRACTICAL DETAILS

Build a good connection.

Use a current response.

Publication status can change. Fetch the current kit when showing it, honor response caching headers, and remove unavailable results from your integration.

Make room for everyone.

Requests with a gateway-provided client IP are limited to 120 per minute per IP. On HTTP 429, honor Retry-After: 60 before retrying. A missing or private kit returns HTTP 404.

Keep credentials private.

Public REST and public MCP reads need no secret. Any MCP client authentication belongs in the client’s secure connection settings. Never place agency or social-platform credentials in browser code.
