Effective October 26, 2026 · Conditional representation release v2
1. Start freely, agree when you submit
Creating your portal, saving a draft or uploading work does not establish representation or create an agency commission obligation. When you choose to submit your media kit for publication, the private submission authorization shows the exact proposed agency percentage, scope and current referral terms. Its initially unchecked checkbox records your conditional acceptance when you submit.
The representation terms take effect only when Milieu approves the same accepted proposal and your kit for publication. A submission awaiting review or declined by the agency does not activate the proposed commission. Publication is an introduction to a professional relationship, not a guarantee of bookings or earnings.
2. A broader professional relationship
The standard proposal covers all professional talent or brand deals entered during your active representation, including agency-arranged, self-sourced, third-party and off-platform deals. Covered work can include modeling, brand partnerships, campaigns, licensing, publishing, content production, merchandise, appearances and other professional creative or commercial opportunities. Representation is broader than buying or selling content.
The agency compensation is the privately accepted percentage of gross compensation actually received for covered deals, before the agency allocation and processing costs. Refunds and payment corrections must be reconciled against the compensation ultimately retained. Ordinary personal purchases and unrelated personal transactions are outside this professional-deal scope. Existing deals entered before representation begins are outside the standard proposal unless a separate, expressly accepted arrangement includes them.
Tell Milieu about existing representatives, exclusivity, school or league obligations, work permissions and other commitments that affect the relationship. Optional discovery helps the agency understand your goals, qualifications and support needs. A proposal cannot authorize you to disregard an existing agreement or a permission you do not have.
3. Tailored terms before approval
Milieu may request kit changes and propose a different agency percentage, covered scope or support arrangement before publication. The revised private proposal replaces the pending proposal for that submission. Review its actual percentage and scope, then expressly accept and resubmit if you agree. The agency cannot publish that revised submission or activate the revised terms using acceptance of an earlier proposal.
Previously accepted agreements retain their recorded scope and amounts. A broader scope or a different percentage needs fresh acceptance. Creating a portal or continuing to use it does not silently amend your agreement.
4. Duration and deal administration
Representation begins on the agency approval recorded for your accepted proposal. Either party may end it prospectively by written notice through the portal or the agency contact below, unless an expressly accepted private proposal states a different duration or notice arrangement. New deals entered after the effective end are outside the ended relationship. Compensation already due for deals covered during the relationship remains subject to the accepted agreement and reconciliation.
Report covered off-platform deals and received compensation privately to the agency so the agreed allocation can be reviewed and administered. Portal payment tools process only separately approved payment plans. Submission permission does not authorize an automatic charge, debit an external account or itself collect commission from an off-platform deal.
For portal payments, both participants separately review and accept the exact gross payment, agency amount and talent allocation before checkout. Read the payment terms for processing, transfers, refunds and disputes.
5. Referral participation and content permission
Submission also asks you to accept the current referral program terms. The private authorization displays the current referral percentage and records its version. Rewards apply only to qualifying referred deals under those terms; representation coverage does not expand referral rewards to every outside deal or guarantee a reward.
Your publication and applicable Milieu promotion permissions follow the Content & use terms. You keep ownership of your work. Rights outside those permissions, including a separate brand’s usage rights, require their own agreement. Publication and promotion consent can be withdrawn as described there; ending a content permission and ending representation are distinct choices.
6. Age, records and support
Age-13 kits stay private. Representation involving members aged 14–17 requires guardian-assisted agency review and the necessary authorization before activation. An individual offer may require separate guardian approval and work eligibility review. Submission does not bypass those requirements.
The portal records the accepting account, exact proposal, percentage, scope, authorization statement, terms versions, referral percentage, time and agency approval. Representation records remain private to the member and authorized agency staff. The privacy notice explains record handling.
Discuss support, exceptions, revised terms or the end of representation through your private portal or hello@milieuagency.com.
